David Alexandre Walz is a multi-disciplinary animator and illustrator, currently living in Jerusalem.

David started drawing at an early age. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film & TV Directing at the International Film School of Paris EICAR. Upon graduation, he directed a short film "The Crossing", reflecting both his passion for fine arts, sequential narrative art, as well as animation. The project was shown internationally at several festivals and events in the USA and France.

He has since worked on a variety of projects for clients around the world. Among the projects he worked on as an animator / illustrator was the video project  "Eagle", presented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP22. He also worked as a motion designer at the H5 Studio in Paris on commercials and corporate videos for Dior, Guerlain, Lacoste, and Hermès.

More recently, David produced traditional hand-drawn animations, storyboards and 3D designs for a feature film about "Monsieur Chouchani", an enigmatic Master of the Jewish Tradition, as well as 3D animated work for a Jerusalem based high tech company. He also produced several videos, animations and a comic book project for the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.
